Re-use & Classifieds
ATinNH promotes the reutilization of Assistive technology in a variety of ways. Used equipment is often just as good, yet
much cheaper than new technology. You may want to onsider the following services before you spend precious resources on a
new piece of equipment:
Refurbished Equipment Marketplace (REM)
ATECH Services’ Refurbished Equipment Marketplace (REM) is New Hampshire’s best established reutilization program for previously owned assistive technologies. The REM takes donated items, has them refurbished by a certified technician, and makes them available for purchase or rent to individuals and dealers throughout New Hampshire and in neighboring New England states. Each year the REM processes over 700 pieces of equipment (wheelchairs, mobility aids, hospital beds, bath aids, portable ramps, etc.) and makes them available to persons who find the cost of new AT prohibitive. The REM Showroom (pictured) offers customers the opportunity to explore and test quality equipment (both pediatric and adult).
To Donate Equipment that is less than 5 years old and in very good working condition, please contact either Steve Snell or Paul Luff:
